I like your writing style and argument. But is your angst against The New Yorker or Prof Sen. Are you questioning his scholastic ability or his opinion? It is clear your leanings are Pro- BJP. IMHO I think fact and truth have to be the basis for argument. It’s hard for us to find that and increasingly with fake news it is critical for folks like you who blog to separate fact from fiction. But it is critical also to be balanced. Here are a few questions to ponder — Are you positing that Mr. Sen didn’t deserve A Noble prize? I am not sure that either of us are capable of arguing that? Maybe you shouldn’t have attacked his scholastic capability. Economists with rival opinions often passionately challenge each other. IMHO that is scholastic opinion not necessarily that one is more deserving than the other. I am sure Jagdish Bhagwati will have his shining day too. You have challenged some of the seeming untruths in the New Yorker article which I must admit I haven’t read yet. If your objective was to challenge it you have accomplished it but IMHO your article is lacking a balanced view point.
But do keep writing, look forward to your future posts !
